Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before entering. If you have any questions please email FoodInSpace. 

These terms are legally binding. This service is provided by Marcobeolchi.com srls (Via Citterio 6, 20010, Santo Stefano Ticino, Milano, Italy).

1. General

1.1 The initiator and organiser of the FoodInSpace Awards is Marcobeolchi.com srls. Anyone who participates in the Awards accepts fully and unreservedly agree to all of the terms and conditions of the FoodInSpace Awards. If you do not agree with any of the terms or conditions, then you should not take part in the FoodInSpace Awards.
1.2 The ‘Terms and conditions’ of the FoodInSpace Awards are an addendum to the general Terms of Use of the FoodInSpace website.

2. Eligibility

2.1 To be eligible for entry to the FoodInSpace Awards 2025, the projects must have been completed between 1 January 2022 and 30 September 2025. To be considered as completed, concept projects need to have been handed over to the client.

2.2 Projects cannot enter again if they have been submitted in previous FoodInSpace Awards editions.
2.3  FoodInSpace  reserves the right to disqualify a project if it becomes apparent that a submission is inaccurate or if FoodInSpace or the jury has any uncertainty about the integrity or credits of the project. FoodInSpace reserves also the right to edit, reject or move any entry for any reason.
2.4 Entries must be submitted via the awards entry form that can be found on the FoodInSpace website. All submitted texts must be in English. If you submit a project in another language, FoodInSpace reserves the right to disqualify it.
2.5 If two or more parties have collaborated on a project together, it is the entrant’s responsibility to ensure that the project is only submitted by one of the collaborating parties. The designated entrant will be responsible for all stages of the entry.

3. Requirements and accepted formats

3.1 The FoodInSpace Awards are open to all architecture firms, design studios and manufacturers, as well as all individual professional architects, interior architects and designers all over the world, over the age of 18.
3.2 Entering a project at the FoodInSpace Awards is very simple.

Email us the following:
1 Name of the project
2 Address (Road, City, Country)
3 Project area (sqm)
4 Year of execution
5 Photos in low resolution (at least 6 photos)
6 Text description (if available, it’s not mandatory)
7 Name of the Photographer
8 Name of the Designer
9 If you want, the name of other professionals involved in the project.

If you already have a project of yours published on our platform and would like it to participate in the Awards simply send us an email requesting it and we will do it!

3.3 For the jury to see your entry, the concept or space project must be published on the FoodInSpace website.
3.4 Entries must be submitted before 23:59 Milano time (CEST) on the night of 30 September 2025. No entries will be accepted after this time.
3.5 You are allowed to enter as many projects as you wish, in as many categories as you wish.
3.6 Projects that are entered at the FoodInSpace Awards can be altered up to the point of submission. After this point, no alterations can be made to the project(s) that have been entered or to the category(ies).
3.7 Entries will be judged solely on the material submitted. Entries must include at least six photograph of the completed projects. Photographs must be genuine and unaltered, though minor retouching is allowed.  FoodInSpace shall be under no obligation to request alternative or replacement images.
3.8 Applicants represent and warrant that all materials sent us and submitted will not infringe or constitute a misappropriation of any right of any third party, including any copyrights, mask work rights, patent rights, trademark rights, trade secret rights or confidentiality rights and agree to indemnify Marcobeolchi.com srls and FoodInSpace and its employees against any liabilities, damages, costs, losses, or expenses arising as a result thereof.

4. Projects

Entries must be submitted by 23:59 CET time of the 30 September 2025.

5. Entry Instructions

Below is some information to help you to send us the documentation to submit your entry.

Photographs: Submitted images must be in JPEG, JPG or PNG format. (Keep each image under 2 MB maximum, a maximum width of 2,500 px, a maximum height of 2,000 px, RGB is preferable).
You can send us an unlimited number of photographs and images, but we recommend no more than 25 and at least 6.

NB: The cover photo will be chosen by our editorial team: the width shall be greater than the height .

If there are no photos. among the submitted photos. with a width greater than the height, our editorial team will resize one of them for the cover.

Drawings:  drawings: plans, sections and details are not allowed.
Video: video are not allowed
Entry text: Provide a short description of the project. The minimum word count is stated on the entry form.  Write your entry succinctly and clearly, sticking to the facts and avoiding exaggeration.

6. Categories

6.1 There are a total of 26 categories that can be entered. These categories are listed below and on the FoodInSpace website.
6.2 You can enter projects in as many categories as you wish.
6.3 We reserve the right to change the category for an entry if we consider the change benefits the entrant and their project.
6.4 For each category there will be a shortlist of projects, two finalists and one overall winner. An award will be given to the designer of each winning project.

8. Judges

8.1 FoodInSpace will appoint an international jury of acclaimed architects, designers, interior architects and interior designers, and possibly other experts from the food & beverage and design industry to choose the winners of the Awards for each category.
8.2 FoodInSpace will organise, select and manage the jury, which will be instructed to act without bias or favour. Judges may enter the awards, however they will not be able to judge their own entries.The judges decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding their decisions or decision-making processes.

9. Jury process

First stage
All entries are digitally reviewed by the FoodInSpace editorial team who will select a shortlist of nominees in each category. In this process, entries will be judged against the criteria of the FoodInSpace Awards. The result of this phase is a shortlist for each category of projects.

Second stage
The international Jury, will digitally evaluate the shortlist for each category. In each category, the two projects with the highest combined evaluation (Jury + Popular) will become the two finalists/nominated in the category. Each Jury member will review the projects categories remotely, and each juror will score the entries using a scoring system. Scores will be awarded according to the judging criteria. The project, in each category, that gets the most likes on the website (Popular vote) will have a bonus of 40 points that will be added to the Jury’s points to name the two finalists in each category.

Third stage
The finalists projects that gets the most likes on the website (Popular vote) will have a bonus of 40 points that will be added to the points obtained by the Jury to determine an overall winner in each category: the “FoodInSpace Awards Winner”

10. Announcement of winners

10.1 Nominated entries will be published on the FoodInSpace website. Entrants whose entries aren’t nominated will not receive any correspondence from FoodInSpace.
10.2 FoodInSpace Awards winners will also be announced in the FoodInSpace website.
10.3 FoodInSpace may attempt to respond, answer and reply to any requests, queries or questions communicated by an applicant at any time. However, FoodInSpace  and Marcobeolchi.com srls are not required or obligated to provide such a response, answer or reply.
10.4 If an entry receives an award, the manner and details of announcing the nomination and award is strictly at the discretion of FoodInSpace and Marcobeolchi.com srls. The applicant understands that all awards may not be given or publicised in the same manner.

11. Timeline

Entries must be submitted by 23:59 CET time of the 30 September 2025.

October 2025 – judging of entries and announcement of the shortlist and voting.

29 October 2025 – announcement of finalists

12 November 2025 – announcement of winners.
