The FoodInSpace Awards is a major and influential design competition for food and beverage spaces around the world.
The Awards recognise and celebrate the excellence and originality of design work from around the world and aim to establish itself as one of the most important design achievements, while maintaining the nature of the FoodInSpace web magazine of providing a source of inspiration designers, artists, architects, brands and design agencies. Entries and nominations are open to all and from all countries.

REGISTRATION, ELIGIBILITY AND CATEGORIES
PROJECT ENTRY FORM
Projects entered in the FoodInSpace Awards 2025 must have been implemented after 1 January 2022 and up to the final deadline (30 September 2025).
Who can enter projects? (individual and/or team)
The FoodInSpace Worldwide Awards are open for example to:

• F&B/Hotellerie brands
• Contractors
• Builders
• Designers
• Suppliers
• Photographers
• Graphic Designers
• Engineers
• Freelance professionals
• Anyone aged 18 or over and residing anywhere in the world
Registration is simple.
Email us the following:
1 Name of the project
2 Address (Road, City, Country)
3 Project area (sqm)
4 Year of execution
5 Photos in low resolution (at least 6 photos)
6 Text description (if available, it’s not mandatory)
7 Name of the Photographer
8 Name of the Designer
9 If you want, the name of other professionals involved in the project.
If you already have a project of yours posted on our platform and would like it to participate in the Awards simply send us an email requesting it and we will do it!
There is no limit to the amount of projects you can enter.
We recommend a project description of around 400 words, focusing on its creativity and originality. This text will not only help strengthen your application for the final victory, but will also provide the jury with a deeper understanding of your work. It is important to note that the accompanying text of your project must be written in English only; if it is written in other languages, it will not be taken into account by the jury when evaluating your project.
Yes, you can enter the same project in as many categories as you see fit. You just write us the categories you want. FoodInSpace reserves the right to reclassify projects that are incorrectly classified.
Certainly, however, as we aim to promote the creation of new works and stimulate innovation, we encourage you to submit works that have not previously been entered in other competitions. However, it is possible to enter projects that have been submitted or have won prizes in other competitions.
Projects cannot enter again if they have been submitted in previous FoodInSpace Awards editions.
If a project is not complete it will not be considered eligible to participate in the Awards. Although we make every effort to ensure that all the informations about the projects are sent us correctly, we cannot accept responsibility for incomplete or incorrectly informations received.
Submitted images must be in JPEG, JPG or PNG format. (Keep each image under 2 MB maximum, a maximum width of 2,500 px, a maximum height of 2,000 px, RGB is preferable).
You can send us an unlimited number of photographs and images, but we recommend no more than 25 and at least 6.
NB: The cover photo will be chosen by our editorial team: the width shall be greater than the height .
If there are no photos. among the submitted photos. with a width greater than the height, our editorial team will resize one of them for the cover.
REGISTRATION FEE AND PAYMENT
Projects
Early Bird registration (30 April to 30 May 2024) costs 75 euros per project per category + VAT (if applicable)
Standard Entry (31 May to 31 August 2024) costs 150 euro per project per category + VAT (if applicable)
Late Entry (from 1 September to 30 September) costs 200 euro per project per category + VAT (if applicable)
Each additional category to which you enter your project will receive a 20% reduction in the entry fee.
Products

A 20% reduction in the entry fee will be applied to each additional category you enter.
Entry fees will not be refundable once paid. Entries later withdrawn (either withdrawn by the participant or by FoodInSpace due to the participant’s non-compliance with the entry rules) will NOT be refunded.
A regular commercial invoice will be issued for the registration fees paid.
Exclusively online. You can pay your submission after you have entered your project/product by credit card (VISA / MasterCard) or PayPal (AMEX / PayPal).
Yes, we currently only accept EUR.
JURY
The jury consists of professionals who are experts in their field and industry, such as creative designers and art
directors from international agencies, architects, interior designers, product designers, marketers or
entrepreneurs, and promotes diversity in professional experience, geography, gender and ethnicity. All judges are
selected on the basis of experience, availability and reputation in their respective professional field.
Judges can enter their own projects in any category but cannot judge them.

Judging criteria
The judges award a score on a scale of 10 to 100, based on the following criteria:
- Creativity
- Functionality
- Aesthetics
- Wow Factor
The judgments of the FoodInSpace Awards are final and at the sole discretion of the judges and may not be subject
to any discussion or revision.
WINNERS
First stage
All entries are digitally reviewed by the FoodInSpace editorial team who will select a shortlist of nominees in each category. In this process, entries will be judged against the criteria of the FoodInSpace Awards. The result of this phase is a shortlist for each category of projects.
Second stage
The international Jury, will digitally evaluate the shortlist for each category. In each category, the two projects with the highest combined evaluation (Jury + Popular) will become the two finalists/nominated in the category. Each Jury member will review the projects categories remotely, and each juror will score the entries using a scoring system. Scores will be awarded according to the judging criteria. The project, in each category, that gets the most likes on the website (Popular vote) will have a bonus of 40 points that will be added to the Jury’s points to name the two finalists in each category.
Third stage
The finalists projects that gets the most likes on the website (Popular vote) will have a bonus of 40 points that will be added to the points obtained by the Jury to determine an overall winner in each category: the “FoodInSpace Awards Winner”
All winners of the 2025 season will be announced on 12 November 2025 (to be confirmed) via the official FoodInSpace Worldwide Awards page and socials.
