Melandri is the founder and designer behind Zameru Interiors, a Johannesburg-based interior architectural and design studio focused on spatial composition, material integrity, and experiential design. After earning her Master’s Degree in Interior Design in Florence, Italy, in 2022, she deepened her expertise through sustainability workshops with Cassina Designer Paolo Deganello and Lapo Binazzi, shaping her approach to responsible and intentional design.
Her philosophy is centered on the idea that spaces should not only be visually striking but also deeply connected to how people live and interact within them. She carefully considers proportion, materiality, and atmosphere, ensuring that every project balances beauty with practicality. By combining timeless design principles with contemporary sensibilities, she creates interiors that feel harmonious, inviting, and enduring.
Through Zameru Interiors, Melandri explores site-specific design solutions, leveraging context, proportion, and user experience to shape environments that enhance both usability and emotional resonance.
