SUPERSTUDIO21
Architect Mirco Cavallo, originally from the province of Treviso, was born in 1964. After completing his studies in Architecture in Venice, he graduated in 1993 and began his career collaborating with various studios in Europe and South America, particularly in Chile. In 1999, Mirco founded STUDIO CAVALLO21, based in Treviso, Italy, and in 2015 he opened a second studio, SUPERSTUDIO21, in Köln, Germany. Operating between Germany, Belgium, and Italy, SUPERSTUDIO21 specializes in Interior Design and Architecture in the Hospitality, Retail, and Entertainment sectors, with a particular focus on the food industry. Mirco collaborates with some of the most important food sector chains in Germany, such as Vapiano, the Carlsberg-Astra Group, Bitburger Braugruppe, Cafe de Paris, TERENCE HILL, STEFFEN HENSSLER, Wienerwald 2.0, EMRE CAN, Enchilada group, Cafe del sol, and Thomas-group. Mirco’s design vision is distinguished by a personal multicultural interpretation, possibly influenced by his childhood spent among the wonderful and colorful objects collected by his father, a respected antique dealer. This joyful and colorful approach to design leads to an almost dreamy conception of projects, enriched by years of academic studies in architecture and travel. Mirco has developed a unique and distinctive design approach that can be defined as a “new eclecticism,” where objects and thoughts flow freely, connected by an invisible “guiding thread.” Every element of his projects conceals a surprise, a game, or a dreamlike memory, conveying to users not only the essence of his work as an architect and designer but also his vision as a contemporary man.
