Arquitectura Invisible
We are mainly dedicated to creating Architecture that excites, that reaches the senses and soul of people. As the architect Luis Barragán said, “I believe in emotional architecture. It is very important for the human species that architecture can move us with its beauty. If there are different technical solutions that are equally valid for a problem, the one that offers the user a message of beauty and emotion, that is architecture.” In his treatise “De Architectura”, Marcus Vitruvius proposed that architecture rests on three basic principles: Venustas (beauty), Firmitas (firmness) and Utilitas (utility). Architecture is a balance between these three variables, and the absence of one of them would mean that such a work could not be considered as such. For us, if there is no health within a space, it ceases to have any meaning, neither for its utility nor as beauty. We believe that Salutis (health) should be the fourth basic principle and be at the same level as the other principles, since without health, the emotions that build the experience of a place cannot be felt.It is a concept that is based on something very simple, human beings live under a climate and in a specific place on the Planet, “building with the climate.” Bioclimatic architecture represents a complexity of solutions to satisfy the inhabitant in a natural way with sustainability criteria, without condemning the following generations to an uncertain future. It represents the concept of optimal energy management of buildings through the capture, accumulation and distribution of passive or active renewable energies with high technology or with traditional systems. It represents the integration with the environment in terms of the management of the building with respect to the climate of the place, as well as the relationship with the local landscape and the use of local materials, establishing a dialogue with the “genius loci”. It represents the concern for the healthiness of spaces, the environment and the well-being of people.
