Atelier d’More was established in Shanghai in 2015 and is committed to sincere and unconventional design, advocating for powerful yet restrained design. We do not conform to conventions, and we believe in designing with depth, not sacrificing awareness, and delving into the essence of things. We firmly believe that architecture is not just a combination of structure and materials but also a way to connect people with the environment and art with science. We persistently practice unconventional design and construction methods, breaking the stereotypes of architecture and space, and creating surprises in space through poetic expressions. Many works by Atelier d’More have been featured in both domestic and international design media and magazines, including Gooood, Dezeen, Designboom, Designverse, ABBS, World-Architects, Architectural Digest, Frame, ArchDaily, ID+C, MD, ELLE DECO, Interiors, NOT, and Fashion Home, etc. The studio has also received multiple international design awards, including the Architecture MasterPrizes, DNA Paris Design Awards, SDA Shenzhen Global Design Award, the 19th International Design Media Awards for the Annual Hotel Space Award, Dezeen Awards – Longlist, and nominations for the ArchDaily Building of the Year Award. It is the only Chinese design company to receive both the BEST OF BEST awards for architectural design and interior design at the 2022 Architecture MasterPrize.
