AURORA is a Japan-based lighting design studio. AURORA is named after Aurora, the Roman goddess of dawn, a symbol of the arrival of the light of intelligence and creativity. What is important to AURORA is the desire to get as close as possible to the beautiful sights and phenomena created by an orderly nature. AURORA’s minimalist lighting design does not aim to illuminate a space without any thought, but rather to determine the light that is truly necessary. We aim for a more logical and organic lighting design, rather than relying solely on subjective sensation.
