Having opened in 2017, Baranowitz & Goldberg partners Sigal and Irene have been collaborating as colleagues in many different commercial design projects. After a few years of successful joint work, the two architects established their own practice, paving a new way based around their diverse expertise.
Irene & Sigal’s comprehensive experience in different fields of design allow the studio’s work to vary and include all scales. Whether it be a product or a building, creating a story that will ignite the creative process is the leading principle of their work.
The studio’s projects are characterized with a playful balance between art and design while adhering to strict yet poetic principles of proportion, and a true integration between conceptual thought and functionalism.
When created within a strong conceptual framework, creativity can turn to unpredictable yet coherent directions. The studio’s goal is to allow each project to pave its way toward a unique architectural interpretation.
