Hi, I’m Chris Amat, a Photographer & Creative Director based in Calgary, Alberta. I shoot a wide range of subjects, from lifestyle and portraits to interiors and food, and everything in between. I aim to create a cohesive and genuine body of work that radiates emotion and life — elements that are often overlooked. I picked up my first camera in 2013 as an extension of my creative toolkit. Previously, I spent over a decade in the advertising industry, where I worked on conceptualizing and executing creative for a wide range of clients. I’m grateful to be able to bring all the experience and skills I’ve gathered throughout my career into my practice. From strategy and creative direction to the intricacies of production, I have the ability to oversee projects of any size, guiding them from inception to completion.
