We are an architecture and urban design practice founded in 2010 by Ondrej Chybik (*1985) and Michal Kristof (*1986). Operating with 60+ international team members from our offices in London, Prague, Brno and Bratislava, we are part of a new generation of designer-makers turned problem solvers. As city shapers and architects, we understand the profound impact our built environment has on shaping the way we live, work, and interact with one another. Our approach is not just about creating structures; it’s about crafting experiences, weaving stories, and fostering connections. We craft character. Drawing on our unique Central European heritage and history, we deliver projects of all types which have a deep-seated sense of place, heritage and social value, with a process of capturing and crafting character at their core. By crafting character, we pursue our mission to embrace the role of architects as change-makers who go beyond the aesthetic and focus on local, social and economic challenges in a global context. Through progressive approaches like adaptive reuse and modular design, we address our generation’s responsibility to people and the planet, seeking creative solutions to global problems. Bringing together the fields of architecture, urbanism, research and education, it’s our mission to infuse community value in the future of our cities internationally. Our studio has been awarded a number of prizes, including the Design Vanguard 2019 award from Architectural Record, and was recently amongst the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies’ 2019 40 Under 40 Award winners.
