Guillermo Tirado González Architects

Guillermo’s passion and dedication to architecture are undeniable. Influenced by the art of Mies van der Rohe, Rem Koolhaas and Norman Foster, he believes that architecture is the perfect legacy of our generation and a fundamental piece that integrates us as humans. He is currently one of the most important architects in the city of Monterrey. Guillermo González Tirado was born in Ciudad Victoria (Mexico) in 1974. After studying at the Universidad Tecnológica de Monterrey, he received the “Young Entrepreneur” award from the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism in 2003. In 2005, he founded the architectural firm, Guillermo Tirado González Architects, and later co-founded, with his brother Adrián Tirado González, Grupo Tirado, a conglomerate of companies dedicated to interior design, construction, steel structures and real estate in Mexico and the United States. He obtained a certification in Real Estate from the Universidad Tecnológica de Monterrey in 2008. During the period 2012 – 2014, he managed the Presidency of EXATEC Arquitectos. Influenced by the art of Mies Van Der Rohe, Rem Koolhaas and Norman Foster, he considers architecture to be the perfect legacy of our generation and a fundamental piece that integrates us as humans. The recognition of his work has resulted in numerous awards in Mexico and abroad. EXATEC (Association of Former Students of the Universidad Tecnológica de Monterrey) awarded him a recognition for his outstanding career as one of the thirty most renowned architects within the practice of Contemporary Mexican Architecture in 2013. In 2015 he won the Premio Norteño 2015 – AAI México in the restaurant category and later in 2016, he won this same award for the Casa Lurent project. Among his most notable awards are the London International Creative Awards, for the project: CATAM. (Autism Center of Tamaulipas). As well as the recognition by Architizer in 2019 for the MF Pavilion project, which was the winner of the Design and Build Awards 2019, in London, United Kingdom.
