For me, photography is a passion and hobby, not just a profession. My earliest projects, using black and white film, taught me about the importance of focus, content and lighting and much of this is still evident in my shots today. The composition of a photograph captures detail as well as telling a story. I love looking at places and nature from a different angle and spend time arranging my photographs to ensure a unique and engaging shot. After finishing my education, I attended Inchbald School of Design before embarking on a career in Architectural Interior Design and Interior Photography. This gave me opportunities to experience the decisions that go into the design process. My photographs aim to capture these styles, textures and colours and to showcase each project. Although based in Oxfordshire, my work takes me across the United Kingdom and abroad photographing residential properties, commercial buildings, property developments and restaurants. In addition, I have photographed sports events, sailing, wildlife, landscapes and people. I have been lucky enough to exhibit my work, exhibiting at Messum’s Gallery on Cork Street and my images have been published as features in many of the leading interiors magazines.
