Our philosophy eschews preconceived notions of style, form, or materiality in favor of a collaborative evolution of ideas. KoDA’s design process is fundamentally based on discovery. Through study and exploration, the architecture is allowed to perform in response. This could include specific view opportunities, programmatic requirements and environmental conditions of the site, but also historical and cultural context.
