Lady and Butler’s Founder and Creative Director Eli Caner, was immersed in fashion from a young age in her native Barcelona, shaped by her mother’s expertise in knitting and pattern-making. A desire to broaden her cultural perspectives took her on travels around the world, eventually leading her to New York City where she worked with esteemed designers such as Camilla Staerk and Jonathan Simkhai. Eli’s background in fashion, paired with a nuanced understanding of hospitality and nightlife, illuminated a distinct need for modern, sophisticated, and functional uniforms. One of her earliest partnerships with Via Carota popularized the chore coat as a restaurant staple. Today, Lady and Butler serves global brands, creating uniform programs that blend functionality with style to enhance their brand identities.
