Nicoló divides his time between Berlin and Milan. Besides his work as a fashion, commercial and portrait photographer, Nicoló is passionate about narrative and documentary photography. In recent years, he has conducted research on issues related to the environment, migration and the rights of indigenous peoples for NGOs such as Amnesty International and Greenpeace. His photographic and audiovisual work tells people-centred stories. Lanfranchi has published his projects in newspapers such as Der Spiegel, The Guardian and Internazionale, and founded the storytelling chair at IED Milan.
