The two founders, Wasfy Taha and Fionn Mögel, have been working on joint projects since 2005, including in Switzerland and Dubai. In 2011, the first joint office was founded: QUERKOPF ARCHITEKTEN. The starting signal was given with a competition win for the disused Vattenfall power plant “Bullerdeich” in Hamburg. Today, Querkopf Architekten is a young team with visions and realized projects that still consciously thinks “outside the box.” Their work focuses not only on aesthetics and their quality standards, but also on their demands on cost-effectiveness and the execution of construction sites. Always with the aim of realizing the building as close as possible to the vision and design. With this broad view from property development to completion, they give the customer a high degree of reliability and the buildings an above-average added value, without having to compromise on design.
