Studio 10 | Shenzhen Ten Design Co., Ltd. was founded in 2017. It is a diversified design studio focusing on architectural design. Based in Shenzhen and Hong Kong, it is committed to providing highly customized, high-quality boutique architecture, interior, product and other creative design services. Our design research objects are distributed in the world’s most densely populated urban environments today, as well as in low-density rural areas; as a multidisciplinary design studio, we regard architecture and space as the most important and ubiquitous medium between people and their natural, social and cultural environment. In our practice, architecture and space are not only our shelters in the environment, but also the medium for us to perceive the surrounding environment. They are also catalysts and generators that inspire the revitalization of urban and rural communities and environmental improvement. In this process, we constantly reflect and are committed to promoting economic, cultural and social progress based on architecture and space, and pursuing eternal balance and harmony between people and the environment. In order to reconnect people and nature, we explore unorthodox treatments of form and materials in design, and express our desire for the humanization of architecture: by reintroducing pre-industrial/pre-digital craftsmanship into the design process, architecture and space become a mixture of rationality and intuition. We also continue to explore recyclable/recycled and reused natural and industrial materials, and through their innovative and unfamiliar use, we call for awareness and sensitivity to the environment.
