As our name implies, Studio Figure is a multifaceted architecture practice possessing a broad scope of specialization from building design to public art. With our clients, we create and actualize projects that are receptive and bound to the environments we inhabit. This focus on place-making and phenomena often begins the design discussion and serves as the basis for collaboration. It is our belief that design excellence elevates the spirit and is an essential nutrient for nourishing our ever-progressing life on earth. This sustenance drives us to aim for a thoughtful balance between design-craft, client-goals, and context-awareness to unlock appropriate design solutions. We listen to our clients’ aspirations, interests, needs, and environment to guide and direct the design process. These are crucial ingredients to the alchemy of exceptional design. After reviewing design options, grounded in creativity with constraints, we incorporate feedback to further refine the design direction. In addition, we always look at spatial variations and an array of materiality options. When the design direction and scheme has revealed itself, we work through the logistics of permitting, specifications, and construction documents. All the necessities to get it built! From here, we can also serve as construction administrators and quality control.
