Tala Fustok
Interior design has the power to enrich lives and evoke powerful emotions. We curate spaces that are considered and designed to inspire, timeless with an innate sense of theatre, and a peppering of the unexpected in each corner. We weave our clients’ stories into the fabric of our intuitive vision.’ – Tala Fustok, Founder. Tala has been exposed to a rich mix of influences due to her multicultural heritage. From a young age, she had an undeniable passion for interiors and these same influences have informed her style today. Tala’s eye for vintage pieces – which she honed early on, roaming flea markets and galleries – alongside the refined architectural discipline she learnt while studying at London’s Architectural Association, are the perfect antithesis for which she based her design aesthetic. Living in Paris, Tala worked on several high-profile projects including the iconic palace Hôtel de Crillon, A Rosewood Hotel. Tala returned to London to design a multi award-winning five star hotel, The Mandrake. She has since been successfully operating her interior design practice, creating bespoke out of the ordinary interiors for both commercial and residential projects. Tala has a bold approach using rich opulent materials – both raw and refined – and juxtaposed textures to bring character. This paired with Tala’s integration of secret passages and hidden pockets simply transforms an everyday space with that element of surprise, yet remains luxurious. Based in West London but with an international sensibility, Tala Fustok Studio has a drive to create poetic interiors that honour the architecture and surroundings of each space. Formed over six years ago, the practice has an intentionally small group of talented individuals that deliver a personal service to each client. The studio takes a fully immersive approach defining atmospheres inspired by their owner’s personality, whilst pushing boundaries in the world of design.
