The 南⾵古竃 (Nan Feng Gu Zao), one of the oldest climbing kilns still in use, holds a history spun for several hundred years. The old bricks that form the kiln are painted white, not only to embody the identity of % Arabica but also serve as the primary building material for our first store in the Foshan district. Stepping through the intricate door arches at the entrance, customers are warmly welcomed into the store by the timber-framed gable roof-inspired atrium.
Inside, a central staircase adorned with a double-skin perforated metal effect softly gives the space a sense of light, transparency and airy quality reminiscent of steam rising from below. Natural light floods in through the window, rhythmically arranged in various sizes, casting a subtle sense of fantasy and softness in the air. Together, these elements envelop customers in an ambiance close to that of a kiln, inviting them to indulge in a sensory journey.
