The restaurant is custom-tailored to make guests feel as if they have just diven into an underwater experience.Customers then make way to their tables where the illusion of a river flowing through the middle of the table with a blue inlay is created. Soft sofas line the perimeter of the restaurant, while the bar stools spell out the restaurant’s name for all to see. A brassy tunnel then takes the guests past an aquarium to a modern concrete jungle washroom.The design concept is to feature the nature of the sea, the depths of the ocean, the fathomless seas that define the boundaries between light and darkness. We find this in the transition of the light walls and the contrasting textures and materials. Our eyes are entertained by the opposing elegant fabrics and the tough realist concrete furniture and steel-grilles we find on the walls.
