The Lugano Dante is located in a strategic position, in the historic center of the city, a few stepsfrom Piazza Riforma and the Town Hall, less than 10 minutes far from the LAC and the beautifullakefront. An important meeting point for those who are in the city for leisure or for work, areference point that can offer a temporary stop or a pleasant stay, taking advantage of the comfort of the most intimate spaces of the rooms or the versatility and functionality of the spaces for common activities. For these reasons, the Concept Design, developed for both types of spaces, is aimed to define a more recognisable character for a place open to the city, that can present itself as an urban hub.Lugano Dante is an empathetic hotel, where guests, tourists, citizens can take part to a conferenceor an event, spend a day of work or relaxation, enjoy a meal or indulge in an aperitif in awelcoming, eclectic surprising place, thanks to the new Flamel restaurant by the Maci brothers, anew F&B offer within the lobby and dining room spaces, conceived as a single free-flow space.The space on the second floor, now dedicated to conferences and events, is redesigned as theCreative Box of the hotel, a place for work, even temporary, equipped with a winter garden around which spaces for business meetings or conference activities are developed, as well as moreinformal spaces where you can have fun playing table tennis.The hotel rooms are divided according to the type of intervention: 43 will be subject to asubstantial revamping that excludes the renovation of the bathrooms, while 26 rooms are subjectto a completely new overall design. The total of the 69 rooms has been divided, according to theneeds expressed, into 6 types of offer and hospitality: single room, twin room, double room,superior double room, studio suite and a room on two levels renamed “loft”.Lugano Dante is a unique place, to be discovered 365 days a year, following its countless changes,as the seasons change the landscape of the lake and the city mountains: Lugano Dante will bephilologically adaptive, empathetic, passing from “place to be” to “place for being”.
