Located in the heart of South Beach, Miami, MILA, part of Riviera Dining Group, is a restaurant, rooftop lounge and mixology bar aiming to transport diners on a culinary journey through the shores of Mediterranean and Japan, while creating a visionary expression of flavorful MediterrAsian cuisine.The transporting venue brings elevated dining experience and pleasure together with a magical, glamourous, vibrant atmosphere.Living up to its mantra “joie de vivre” (in translation, “joy of living”), MILA embodies a multi-sensory culinary and lifestyle experience: a chic-bohemian enclave filled with eclectic blends of Balearic music, dishes full of taste and a fresh and flirty ambiance. The dynamic restaurant and lounge will transform a high-end dinner service into a vibrant atmosphere for guests to socialize and celebrate the night away.MILA’s cuisine is inspired by Asian and Mediterranean eating practices, both healthful and tasteful, and embracing the importance of enjoying life.Dishes are served in the informal izakaya dining style, meaning they are meant to be shared at the table.Envisioned and crafted by the founders, Gregory and Marine Galy through their travels, experiences and thirst for discovery and adventures, MILA’s design combined traditional and noble materials such as reclaimed woods, unpolished floors, untainted stones, handmade linen and cotton fabrics together to create a serene yet luxury setting.MILA’s aesthetic fuses minimalistic Cycladic islands design with Japan’s Wabi Sabi philosophy of embracing life’s unpredictability and accepting imperfections as beauty. Sculptures, paintings and ceramic art made of metal, clay and wood are placed throughout the restaurant to further enhance the theme, making the entire venue a curated aesthetic sanctuary.
