In order to translate the sweet delicacies of Pâtisserie Ludwig into an interior design concept, we immersed one half of the new sales area in sticky sweet pink and the other half in raw concrete, whose broken surface is reminiscent of the crystalline structure of the chilled tartlets and fresh ice cream. The rosé-coloured shelves extend from floor to ceiling and end as round arches set into the ceiling. The monolithic counter has a neutral white work and presentation surface, which becomes a passe-partout for the colourful chocolates and tartlets. The front of the counter, colourful, handmade terrazzo, forms the counterpart to the “Little Yummy Things”.
