The complete interior fit-out of Shvili Georgian Restaurant, located in The Galleria, Abu Dhabi, was executed by i2D Interior Décor LLC. The restaurant masterfully blends Georgian heritage with contemporary design. The vision behind the space was to create a welcoming environment that reflects the warmth of Georgian hospitality while aligning with the cosmopolitan atmosphere of Abu Dhabi.
Central to the design is biophilia, seamlessly connecting the natural world with the interior to form a tranquil dining oasis. The 5,068-square-foot space was transformed into a vibrant, nature-infused setting, showcasing i2D Interior Décor LLC’s expertise in crafting immersive environments.
The design draws inspiration from traditional Georgian architecture, incorporating earthy tones such as terracotta, beige, and green, complemented by natural materials like wood and stone. Lush greenery is integrated throughout the space, with cascading plants and built-in planters enhancing the organic ambiance. A custom irrigation system and carefully selected indoor plants ensure the sustainability of this biophilic concept, even within the constraints of a mall environment.
A striking green feature wall serves as the restaurant’s focal point, creating a calming ambiance. The open layout and flexible seating arrangements encourage a communal dining experience, while handcrafted Georgian ceramics and traditional art pieces add cultural authenticity. Thoughtful design elements, including custom wall panels and decorative lighting, enrich the overall aesthetic, making Shvili Georgian Restaurant more than just a dining venue—it is an immersive cultural experience.
Despite the challenges in execution, i2D Interior Décor LLC’s attention to detail ensured a flawless and harmonious result, demonstrating their commitment to craftsmanship and exceptional design execution.
