The Iogurt Shop, Villahermosa – Mexico

Project description

The Iogurt Shop was born from a logo and a palette of neutral colors in the client’s hand, from which emerged a focus on a mint green color for the entire design, inspiring the idea of creating an environment that evokes the frozen. However, to prevent the space from feeling too cold, the creative solution of applying green paste on both walls and floor, as well as integrating the color into the furniture, was implemented; opting for a monochromatic approach and reserving the color for the delicious toppings.
With capacity for 26 diners, the entrance welcomes you with walls that give the appearance of melting ice cream. In the center are acrylic tubes with encapsulated candies, which rise from the floor through the wall and the ceiling, and end on the monolithic bar that holds the toppings; highlighting its importance through dynamism and fun. The brand’s presence was subtly integrated throughout the space, from the decorative elements to the packaging boxes.
A contrast of natural elements such as marble and chukum paste was generated, with a touch of elegance through golden objects. The warm natural oak wood provides a cozy atmosphere and the textures highlight the beauty of imperfection, evoking organic materials such as yogurt and frozen earth. Finally, the ambiance is complemented by a carefully selected aroma, reminiscent of a candy factory, evoking an experience full of childhood and joy.
